hi there this is my first post so excuse if i seem lame or not proper at this but ill give it my best shot it all: when me and my girlfriend decided to dine out at valletta we had no bookings so we decided to choose a random place. whilst walking we noticed 3 restaurants next to each other 1 was expensive the other one was full up and then the spezzo was quite empty and the menu looked tasty and affordable so we said lets give it a try we where greated by the manager instantly as we walked service was really polite and efficient everything was sparkling clean me and my girlfriend decided to skip the starters and go direct to the main i ordered beef fillet cutlets which was suggested by the manager i was opting for the fillet steak of angus but he told me try that as i looked a bit undecided the the plate was in the same price range as the one I was taking and gave it a try my girl friend took a veal steak with parma ham and mozzarela on top in sherry sauce. bread was given freely (I consider that a starter sometimes :P) adn after not to long the food had arrived and i must say it was really delicous, both meat dishes where cooked to our liking and the sautee'd potataoes and vegetables was a great compliment after i devoured all the potatoes and the my own plate ( thank god my girl friend is on a diet) we ordered an espresso and after the check which came to a total of 44 euro including also the 2 soft drinks we had which considering we had to meat dishes is quite reasonable. know regarding the place itself it really looked nice not perfect as i noticed some small cracks in the wall that should be promply fixed but other then the enviorment was beautifully lit we soft lights and candles music was ideal for a quite romanthic dinner.After wards upon leavin the door was opened to us aswell and that continued to win me over loving this place. so i hihgly recommend it giving it a whoppign 8/10 considering i will never give a 10 unless the food is A class and free :P. hope I didn't bore you to death and you liked this post kindly let me know your tought's and if I should keep posting thanks a lot and cya hopefully next week with another juicy review :)
