SottoZero - the gelato factory

Well, the quality of ice cream in Malta keeps improving. These past few evenings I have discovered the delights of a new gelateria in Bugibba, in Triq ir-Rebbiegha (Spring Street). The easiest way to explain where it is would be: walk on the seafront until you reach the derelict building that was the International hotel (something or other) - it's on a corner. The gelateria is round the corner from it. In the evenings you'll see the neat little neon ice-cream light flashing at you.

The choice is divine - the ice cream decadent. Nutella ice cream anyone? Or a lusciously dark Black Chocolate one. Or a Snickers ice cream? Or be more courageous and try something new : the Ricotta and Pera or the Fior Di Latte.

The ice cream is as creamy as it can possibly get. I think this little shop is a true gem. Go try one..Now.
